b2403: Victorian Silver Plate Fish Sets

 Made in Sheffield in circa 1890 by Charles James Adam and Sidney Darwin, this Antique, Silver Plate Fish Set has beutifully engraved blades and tines and Mother of Pearl handles. The set is of good proportion, the knives being 8.5 inches (24.5cm) long and the forks 7.5 inches (19cm) long. The set is for 12 place settings and is in the original canteen box.

 Hallmarked in Sheffield, 1917 by Walker & Hall, this handsome, silver fish set comprises twelve pairs of fish eaters, all featuring bone handles and silver blades and tines. The fish set is presented in its original box, which measures 14 inches (35.5cm) wide, by 9.75 inches (25cm) deep, and each knife measures 7.75 inches (19.5cm) in length.
