Hallmarked In 1786
This very handsome, George III period, matched suite of Antique Sterling Silver Candlesticks & Candelabra, comprises a pair of candlesticks hallmarked in Sheffield in 1786 by John Parsons & Company, a pair of candlesticks hallmarked in Sheffield in 1799 by Smith, Smith & Creswick, and a pair of candelabra branches hallmarked in Sheffield in 1794 by Smith, Smith & Creswick, all engraved with the same family crest, and in a matching Neoclassical design. Each of the candlesticks measure 11.25"(28.5cm) tall, by 5.5"(14cm) in diameter. Each of the candelabra measure 17.75"(45cm) tall, by 16.25"(41cm) wide. They are filled for balance.
