j3905: Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1937 by Britton, Gould & Co., this traditionally styled pair of sterling silver candlesticks have corinthian columns on stepped, square bases with beaded decoration. The pair of candlesticks are 9.25" (25cm) high and the bases are 4" (10cm) square. As with most canldesticks from this period they are loaded to give stability when in use.
