 Hallmarked in London, 1851 by Joseph Angell, this striking, Victorian, Antique, Sterling Silver Wine Ewer, features shaped sides,with engraved detailing, a scroll handle, and a gilt interior. The wine ewer measures 10.25 inches (26cm) tall, by 5 inches (13cm) from handle to spout, and weighs 20.3 troy ounces.

d4299: Victorian Sterling Silver Wine Ewer

 Heavily chased with floral decoration. The spout features a man's face, presumably Bacchus (Dionysus), the god of wine. The piece carries hallmarks for Edinburgh, 1861 and measures 27cm in height. The handle has ivory breakers.
